Abstract/Description
The mural was designed and painted by Latino youths participating in the program "Say Yes to You" and "Teen Time." It was directed by the artists Hector Valladares and Jaime Melendez. The mural project was sponsored by the Roxbury Boys & Girls Club, the Roxbury Multi-Service Center, and La Alianza Hispana. It was funded through a special grant from United Way of Massachusetts Bay and the Massachusetts Council on the Arts & Humanities. The mural title translated into Spanish: "Dile no a las Drogas, Dile si a tu Communidad." Realizado por los jovenes de los programas "Say Yes to You" y "Teen Time."
